Let me give you an idea of our business, and what we are all about. What would $500 more a month mean to your quality of life? Fact: 85% of future jobs, within 5 years, will be technology related. If you are not in a tech related job, where will you be in 5 years? What will your lifestyle be in the next 5 to 10 years? Where will you be at age 65? If you continue to do the same as you did in the past 5 to 10 years: Will you be able to live your life the way you really want? To buy the things you really want? To retire with peace of mind? Will technology take away the need for your job, or as many people needed to do your job? According to the facts, the odds are not in your favor. However, consider this: Every 12 minutes, someone in America becomes a millionaire. Many of today's Billionaires and Multi-millionaires were not in business 5 years ago. Many of them in Internet based companies that haven't made a profit, have minimal employees yet are worth millions of dollars. 8 out of 10 businesses on America Online's front page were not in business 3 years ago. One company did $800 Million in Internet sales in the first quarter of this year. In business for only 12 years, yet they are worth more than ATT and most of you don't know what they make. While we are reviewing this information, over $1 million worth of products or services are being transacted over the Internet. Bottom line: The Internet surprised everyone. It surprised Bill Gates. Like many people, Gates thought the Internet wouldn't amount to much. Now everyone is playing "catch up", including Gates. The longer one waits, the more you need to catch up. Our President says that we need to operate on Internet time. In Internet time a normal calendar year is 3 months. What we do today in 3 months will be worth a year in normal business. So the decision YOU need to make is: how long are you going to wait until you get started to catch up? Notice I didn't say, "don't let this past you by" Because if you are not on board now, it already past you. Trillions of dollars have already been transacted on the web, you can't get a piece of that, it's already gone. The longer you wait, the faster you are going to have to run to catch up. There are not very many industries out there that have not felt the affect of technology and the Internet. Real Estate Brokers, Travel Agents, Retail Stores, U.S. Post Office, Office Workers, Medical Professionals, Stockbrokers and Flower Shops, just to name a few. What are you going to do about it? Go back to school for years just to graduate and go into an entry level job with a bunch of kids that are more computer literate than you? I have a suggestion: Marketplace International is launching a "turn key" Internet business system. There is nothing to inventory.
